CSU / CEP Blue Card Incident Command Training
The Cleveland State University, Center for Emergency Preparedness is an OFFICIAL Command Training Center for the BLUE CARD Incident Command training program.
The Blue Card Incident Command Certification Program is a state of the art training and certification system, which teaches Company and Command Officers how to standardize local incident operations across their organizations. The program combines both an online and an in-class simulation-training program, which results in an Incident Commander solution that ultimately addresses local Hazard Zones Operations.
The Incident Command Certification Program is designed to first instruct, train, then evaluate, and certify FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICERS who serve in the role of Incident Commander, which supervises and manages emergency and hazard zone operations for everyday LOCAL NIMS type 4 & 5 events.
