The purpose of the CSU-OHIO Voinovich Partnership is to provide support for the work of Senator George V. Voinovich through a research initiative by Cleveland State University and Ohio University. Senator Voinovich served in a volunteer capacity as a Senior Fellow with The Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs, Cleveland State University, and simultaneously as the OHIO Visiting Professor of Leadership and Public Affairs with the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs. The partnership was formed to model collaborative efforts espoused and practiced by Senator Voinovich during his long and well documented career as one of Ohio's leading public officials.
The CSU-OHIO partnership has the goal of drawing broad interest by policy-makers, researchers, students and citizens to use the robust archival materials created during Senator Voinovich's 45 years of public service. Throughout the development of the Voinovich Digital Archival Collection, guest lecturing and research initiatives at both institutions, student engagement and advancement have been, and remain the top priorities and goals of the Partnership.
