ABOUT THE NORTHEAST OHIO METROPOLITAN DATA RESOURCE (NEOMDR)

Click a geography on the map to view an ACS profile.

This site provides data and tools for those interested in excellence in government and public and nonprofit administration. Though much of this is still under development, here you’ll find data to study and understand the demographic, housing, economic conditions, and trends in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, and the 12-county Northeast Ohio region. The site includes internet mapping, data on a variety of urban-and-public-management-related topics from a multitude of sources, and easy-to-view and downloadable data. We will also include data for local geographies such as Cleveland neighborhoods and wards and Cuyahoga Council Districts. We plan to add more data, maps, explanatory text, and graphics to augment the data as the site is further developed.

Current site features:

  • Demographic, housing, and socioeconomic profiles and tables – based on current data from the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (ACS).
  • Properties transfer tables – based on data from Cuyahoga County Fiscal Office records.

Future site features (under development):

  • Economic profiles and tables – The most recent economic data including the establishments by industry, employment, and payroll. This gives insight into how well the geographic area is economically performing.
  • Election data – Data on voter participation and election results.
  • Local public financial data for municipal, county, and other tax district areas.
  • Some of these data are also seen on the NEOMDR Interactive Mapping site.
