The Scranton Peninsula is bordered by the Cuyahoga River and located just west of Downtown Cleveland, Ohio.  With more than 80 acres of developable land and beautiful views of the Cleveland skyline, Carter Riverfront will soon be a destination coveted by visitors and residents alike. Carter Riverfront is the final product of the 2015 Urban Planning Studio capstone course, undertaken by thirteen Cleveland State University students completing their Masters Degree in Urban Planning, Design, and Development, (MUPDD) from the Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs.  The course represents over four months of collaborative work between the class and community stakeholders. The students of the Urban Planning Studio course would like to thank all of the community leaders and residents who participated in informing our final designs through surveys and interviews, with special gratitude to our client, Forest City Enterprises, for granting us the opportunity to work on this project and Professor James Kastelic and Dr. Wendy Kellogg for their guidance throughout the semester.
